A 29-year-old man has been arrested by the Crime Branch of the UT police for allegedly stealing two-wheelers. Three stolen motorcycles have been recovered from him.
The police said the suspect, Rohit Kamboj of Fazilka district, was nabbed from Maloya while riding a motorcycle which was stolen from Sector 15 on the intervening night of January 22 and 23. On his disclosure, the police further recovered two more motorcycles that were stolen from Chandigarh. The police said his aide involved in vehicle thefts was absconding.
