The police have arrested a man with one countrymade pistol, one live round and one magazine here today.

The suspect has been identified as Aman, alias Gopu, 22, a resident of Ambala. He has been booked under the Arms Act. The police produced Aman before the court that sent him to three-day police remand. Aman’s two accomplices, Arun Sarwan and Harmanjit Singh, both residents of Moga, were arrested in a case on January 30. The police said the two accomplices supplied weapons to Aman who was released from the Ambala jail on February 26. — TNS
