10,950 benefit at ‘AAP Di Sarkar Aap De Dwar’ camps in Mohali

A total of 10,950 people have availed of various government services during the ongoing ‘AAP Di Sarkar AAP De Dwar’ camps in the district so far.
Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain reviewed the progress at the camps with ADC (G) Viraj S Tidke and Assistant Commissioner (G) Davy Goyal at her office today. She instructed them to ensure every applicant was heard and provided with the service they applied for on the spot.
Addressing mediapersons, she said so far, 282 villages/wards have been covered under the camps, adding that the administration targets finishing the camps by March 6.
Talking about the camps, the DC said most of the services that residents seek fall under the 44 services that are being provided under the camp. She added that residents may avail of these services by dialling a toll-free number (1076). She added that, apart from these services, the grievances of the residents are also being redressed by the government personnel available at the camps.
DC Jain said Sub-Divisional Magistrates, Revenue Officers, BDPOs and EOs have been making regular visits to the camps, adding that 16 departments in rural and 17 in urban camps have been installing their windows to provide services to the residents.
