10 CHB allottees win prizes for e-payments

To further encourage online payments, Manoj Parida, UT Adviser-cum-Chairman, Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB), has decided to continue with monthly reward of Rs1,000 each to 10 online payment transactions during this financial year.
A computerised draw to decide 10 winners for the month of April was held today under the supervision of Dr Manpreet Singh, GMCH-32. Among the winners, a person deposited the lowest amount of Rs349 only. Two winners are from Maloya, three from Dhanas, two from Mauli Jagran, two from Sector 45 and one from Sector 40.
Among the 10 winners, seven are allottees of small flats, two of residential units and one of commercial unit.
The CHB again requested the allottees to use online payment facility while paying dues/fee to the board. Online payments can be made through net banking, debit and credit cards without any extra charge. In April, a total of Rs65.60 lakh was deposited through 882 online transactions.
