These charges will be increased by 10% every year with effect from April 1.

The MC justified the decision by saying that the prices of petrol/diesel have been increasing day by day and also, the salaries of the fire staff have increased after the implementation of the 7th pay commission’s recommendations.

Firefighters are deputed on standby duty along with vehicles on a request by organisers. The value of a fire vehicle is from Rs.60 lakh to Rs 1 crore.
