Mohali: Principal Secretary, Health, Hussan Lal inaugurated the rolling out of the Covid-19 vaccine at Fortis Hospital on Tuesday. A total of 100 doctors, nurses and frontline workers of the hospital were vaccinated. Dr Amit Kumar Mandal, Director, Pulmonology, Sleep and Critical Care, was the first to get the vaccine jab. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
