85% students of PU University Business School secure jobs

As many as 105 University Business School (UBS), Panjab University, students from the class of 2024-25 secured jobs during the placement process, amounting for an 85 per cent success rate.

Considered a premier institution for management education, the UBS has helped students secure lucrative offers across diverse industry sectors. More than 55 recruiters, including American Express, Adobe, Deloitte, KPMG, and more than 25 new companies from sectors such as IT, Finance, Consulting, E-commerce, and FMCG have so far participated in the recruitment.

This year, the highest package secured during the placement process was Rs 25.11 lakh per annum, while the average stood at Rs 12.95 lakh per annum.

UBS Chairperson Parmjit Kaur, meanwhile, described the placement results as a testament to the students’ dedication and the institution’s industry-aligned academic model, adding, “Our collaborative approach—engaging faculty, corporate mentors, alumni, and training professionals—has played a vital role in shaping globally competent professionals.”

To prepare students for successful placements, UBS implemented a robust training ecosystem, including aptitude and reasoning preparation, resume-building workshops, mock interviews and group discussions, technical and domain-specific training, soft skills and communication development and industry expert sessions and alumni engagement.

The Training and Placement Cell actively fostered corporate relationships and ensured individualised guidance for students throughout the placement process.
