13 held during night drive in Dera Bassi

Thirteen people were apprehended and taken into custody during the night inspections in Dera Bassi subdivision, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bikramjit Singh Brar.

The police officials said night checking and CASO are being held regularly to ensure public safety.

A Cordon and Search Operation was also conducted at Trivedi Camp. Five teams headed by Dera Bassi and Lalru SHOs searched the places and houses of persons with criminal background.

Police also apprehended a eight suspicious individuals for preventive and further necessary action. Some of them were involved in a brawl at Shivam Lodge, Barwala Road.
