The police have arrested three accused in a case of mobile phone snatching and recovered eight phones and two motorcycles from them.

The accused were earlier remanded in four-day police custody, which was extended by one day. Today, they were sent to 14-day judicial custody. The accused have been identified as Happy and Prince Kumar, residents of Mianpur, Lalru, and Satpal, a resident of Bijanpur.

According to the police, Ram Gopal (18), a resident of Rapur Saniyan, was waylaid by the accused near Hansa Park on the Barwala road on November 24 and his phone and Rs8,000 were snatched from him.
