The city today recorded 145 new cases of Covid-19, taking the tally to 16,167. Besides, there was a fatality.

A 65-year-old man from Sector 46, a case of severe acute respiratory infection, died at the GMCH-32. As many as 89 more patients have defeated the virus. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
