An 18-year-old boy was stabbed to death following an altercation at a park in Ram Darbar, Phase 2, here this evening.

The youth was identified as Sagar, a resident of Ram Darbar.

According to initial reports, the incident occurred around 7 pm. A cricket game was in progress when the ball hit some persons sitting in the park, sparking an argument that quickly escalated into violence. The assailants attacked Sagar with knives, fatally stabbing him on the spot. The police reached the spot on getting information and began a probe into the incident.
