1978 batch alumni meet at PEC

The Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Deemed to be University, hosted alumni from the 1978 pass out batch of the Production and Industrial Engineering Department. The reunion brought together accomplished professionals from various corners of the world to revisit their academic roots and strengthen ties with their alma mater.

Alumni were given an exclusive tour of the Production and Industrial Engineering Department that included visits to laboratories and interactive sessions with faculty members.

The event aimed to foster a sense of nostalgia while updating the alumni on the department’s recent advancements. Dr Jimmy Karloopia, Professor-in-charge of alumni, corporate, and international relations, gave information about initiatives undertaken by the alumni office. He highlighted the significant contributions of the Punjab Engineering College alumni towards the growth and success of the college.

Karloopia also provided information on scholarship programmes and various initiatives led by alumni to support the development of the Punjab Engineering College.
