A local court has acquitted two persons Sunil Kumar, alias Lucky, and Rohit arrested in an attempt to murder case. The police booked the accused on January 22, 2024, on the statement of Vikash Kumar Thakur.
He alleged that on January 22, at about 7 pm, he and his friend, Raj Kumar, were standing at the parking in the front of a toilet. After a while, a group of boys came there and started arguing with Raj Kumar. One of them stabbed him in the stomach, he alleged.
The police filed the chargesheet under Sections 323, 324, 431, 34 and 307 of the IPC.
Narinder Dalal, counsel for Sunil Kumar, argued that the accused has been falsely implicated in the case. He added that neither the complainant nor the injured supported the case of the prosecution. After hearing of the arguments, the court acquitted the accused of the charges.
