2 drug peddlers in Chandigarh police net

The police have arrested two drug peddlers carrying 400 bottles of cough syrup.

A team patrolling near Kaimbwala apprehended the suspects, identified as Deepak (27) of Kaimbwala village and Inshuman (24) of Khuda Ali Sher, riding a scooter carrying two boxes containing 400 banned cough syrup bottles without any licence or permit.

A case has been registered. The police claimed that the suspects were unemployed and drug addicts.
