2 fresh cases registered against GBP builders

Chandigarh, July 17

The police have registered two more cases of cheating against Gupta Builders and Promoters Pvt Ltd for duping city residents.

According to the police, a woman resident of Sector 47 alleged Satish Kumar Gupta, Raman Gupta, Pardeep Gupta and Anupam Gupta cheated her of Rs 28.59 lakh regarding booking of an apartment their project ‘Athens-1’ in Kharar.

The apartment was supposed to be delivered in August 2021, but the builders failed to give the possession. Another woman resident of DMC, Sector 38, filed a similar complaint regarding booking of property at ‘GBP Camellia’, Kharar. The police have registered cases at Sector 34 police station and initiated investigation.
