20 cases in Fatehgarh Sahib

Fatehgarh Sahib: As many as 20 new persons, including seven police personnel, were found infected with Covid-19 in the district today. The Kheri Naudh Singh police station, where the seven policemen were working, has been sealed.

Other infected persons include two from Sirhind, six members of a family from the Shashtri Nagar area of Mandi Gobindgarh, two from Amloh, including a student of Desh Bhagat University, two from Dharamgarh village and one from Bassi Pathana.

The areas near the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Sirhind and Shashtri Nagar in Mandi Gobindgarh were declared micro-containment zones. Civil Surgeon Dr NK Aggarwal, said all patients had been admitted to Gian Sagar Hospital. — OC
