To ensure peace and adherence to traffic rules during Holi, the police conducted a special campaign across the district. The City Traffic Team and Surajpur Traffic Team jointly took strict action against vehicle drivers violating traffic regulations.
During inspections at special police checkpoints, a total of 20 challans were issued for offenses including drunk driving, over speeding, triple riding, riding without a helmet, and other traffic violations.

In anticipation of Holi celebrations, the police had already issued a strict warning, resulting in a relatively lower number of violations. Strict monitoring was carried out across various parts of the city, and immediate action was taken against miscreants causing disturbances.
