20 champions exhibit cycling skills

Chandigarh, October 19

Chandigarh Cycling conducted its first BMX Show at the Panjab University grounds. The BMX, which as has recently been made an Olympic event apart from circuit races, is challenging and comes in the Xtreme sports category.

Around 20 champions representing Manipur, Shillong, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, Patna, Delhi and Agartala took part in the show and exhibit their cycling skills and tricks in Flatland and Street BMX. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
