25 new COVID-19 cases take Chandigarh tally to 660

Chandigarh, July 17
Chandigarh on Saturday reported 25 fresh cases of COVID-19, taking the caseload in the Union Territory to 660.
The fresh case a 28-year-old man, 53-year-old woman and 29-year-old woman from Sector-45; a 55-year-old man from Sector-46; a 28-year-old man and 25-year-old woman from Bapu Dham Colony.
Eight cases have been reported from Dhanas — 45-year-old woman, 35-year-old woman, 57-year-old woman, 59-year-old man, 62-year-old man, 21-year-old female, 48-year-old female, 65-year-old man.
The remaining cases include two from Sector-29 — 23-year-old woman and 60-year-old man; 45-year-old woman from Ramdarbar, 75-year-old woman from Sector-44, 65-year-old woman from Sector-35, 46-year-old man from Burail, 32-year-old man from Sector-30, 52-year-old man from Sector-20.
Two cases have also surfaced in Sector-63 — 14-year-old boy from and 43-year-old woman.
With the addition of 25 more cases, the active cases in the UT have climbed to 169.
