Chandigarh: The city recorded 287 fresh Covid cases on Friday, taking the number of active cases to 3,098. With one more death, the toll reached 381. The total number of cases in the UT has reached 27,543. A total of 139 more patients were cured of the disease. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
