3 arrested for armed assault
The police have arrested three men involved in an armed assault in the Ram Darbar area and recovered two knives used in the attack.
On May 2, a group of assailants, including Vashu (25), Gurdeep Guri (19) and Sahil (20), allegedly attacked the family of Sunny, a resident of Indira Awas, Ram Darbar, after his son Varun attended a court hearing.
The attackers are accused of attempting to intimidate Varun into withdrawing from legal proceedings.
Sahil was arrested the day after the attack, with one knife seized from him. Days later, Vashu and Gurdeep Guri were also taken into custody, and two kamanidar knives were recovered from them.
