The Kharar city police have arrested three suspects, including two brothers, in connection with the murder of 15-year-old Gagandeep Singh of Chanalon village.
The deceased was seriously injured when he was attacked by a group of persons on May 8 near Khanpur. He was shifted to the GMCH-32, where he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday.
The police had registered a case under Sections 302, 148 and 149 of the IPC against seven persons, including three brothers, all residents of Khanpur village.
Bhagwant Singh, SHO, Kharar City police station, said the police have arrested Gurpreet Singh alias Vicky and Sukhwinder Singh alias Sukha, both brothers, and Lakhwinder Singh alias Lakhi. All suspects were produced in a local court today from where they were sent to two-day police remand. He said the remaining suspects would also be arrested soon.
