The Operations Cell of the UT police arrested three vehicle thieves and recovered two stolen scooters in separate cases yesterday. They were produced before the court today.

The accused, Aman (25), a resident of Maloya, Shivam, alias Monu (25) and Amit (27), both from Baltana, were arrested in Sector 26 here.

Amit and Shivam were riding a scooter, which was reported stolen from the Chandigarh Police Headquarters’ parking lot and belonged to a lady constable. Aman was caught near the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research with another stolen scooter. — TNS
