A 35-year-old married woman reportedly hanged herself at her residence in Badal Colony, Lohgarh. The deceased, Tinu Dhiman, wife of Inderjit Singh, was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her bedroom. No suicide note was recovered from the scene, the police said.

The incident came to light when Tinu failed to respond for a prolonged period, prompting her in-laws to break down the door. She was reportedly found hanging and was rushed to a private hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival.

The police have taken possession of the body and informed her parents. Further action will be initiated after recording their statements, officials said.
