Panchkula: The district on Thursday reported 39 fresh coronavirus cases, taking the overall tally to 11,194. The Covid toll remained at 149. While 10,714 patients have recovered from the disease so far, 331 cases are still active. The recovery rate stands at 95.71 per cent. TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
