To prevent the spread of Covid, the UT Administration today declared four micro-containment zones in the city.

The UT spokesperson said the Covid outbreak was examined by a committee and a considered view emerged that the affected areas should be declared micro-containment zones.

Parts of Sectors 22, 34, 42, and Sector 50 (Progressive Society) have been declared the micro-containment zones.

Regular screening and monitoring of the areas would continue and frequent sanitisation of the areas would be conducted, he said.
