Vivek Lal, Director, PGIMER, expressed pride in hosting the convocation, highlighting the institute’s commitment to equitable healthcare. “Every rupee invested at PGIMER yields fiftyfold value in patient care — a testament to our compassion, efficiency, and dedication,” he said, adding that over 70 per cent of PGIMER’s admissions are under Ayushman Bharat, with free transplants provided to eligible patients.
