The Panchkla police have nabbed five more youths accused of murdering a Kharag Mangoli resident on May 5.
The accused have been identified as Ritik, Anu, alias Kalu Patla, Manish, Sauras, alias Kallu Mota, and Ravi, all residents of Kharag Mangoli.
Earlier, the police had arrested nine accused in the case — Deepak, Mohammad Usman, Vishal, Arjun, Rajiv, Vinay, Gaurav, Amit and Anil.
Victim’s wife Kajal, a resident of Kharag Mangoli, told the police that on May 6, her husband Karan went out for a stroll late in the evening outside their house. She said 10 to 12 youths were fighting over some issue. She said the accused started beating up her husband and one of the boys hit her husband with a knife on the side of the stomach. Later, the accused threw him in the nearby bushes.
A case under Sections 148, 149, 302, 506, 188, 269 and 270 of the IPC and the Disaster Management Act 2005 was registered against the accused. Later, the police arrested three youths who revealed the names of other six youths involved in the crime.
