Minister for School and Higher Education Harjot Singh Bains started a new initiative “Dialogue with Teachers” from Mohali district this evening.

He gave patient hearing to teachers for about two hours at the auditorium of the Punjab School Education Board.

Bains said the move aimed at getting feedback from principals, head masters, BPEOs, centre head teachers, nodal officers of various programmes and school campus managers about the ongoing reforms and programmes in government schools of the state for further improvement or change.

District Education Officer (Secondary) Dr Ginni said GPS, Baltana; GPS, Saidpura; GSSS, Phase 11, Mohali; SOE, Mullanpur; and SOE, 3B1; were awarded for record increase in enrolment, while GPS, Jujhar Nagar; GPS, Jhingian (Kharar); GPS, Chhajumajra; GMS, Jastana Kalan; and GMS, Khizargarh (Banur), were adjudged best performing schools in Mission Samarth.
