The endowment was instituted in 2023 in the memory of late Ram Mohan Khanna by his daughter, Vardhini to take forward his legacy and belief that opportunities for education must be equal for all.
“The award is a game-changer for the six students who were selected on the basis of consistency and excellent results in the Grade 8 final examinations, to further support their academic aspirations,” said school director Atul Khanna.
He added that nearly 400 students, enrolled in the school under the RTE Act, come from humble backgrounds and have overcome great personal challenges with grace and resilience to also qualify for full scholarships for secondary and higher secondary education through their dedication and perseverance and are being sponsored by the Durga Das Foundation.
