60 complaints resolved at police-public meeting
As many as 60 complaints were resolved on the spot at a police-public meeting ogranised today under the supervision of Dera Bassi Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bikramjit Singh Brar.
Sharing further details about the meeting, Brar said a grievance redressal and complaint camp was organized in Lalru and 60 pending complaints were disposed on the spot while other issues raised by the public were also heard and assurances were provided for earliest resolution.
The DSP mentioned that, as per the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Deepak Pareek, strict instructions have been issued to the police to set up nakas/check-posts on a daily basis and to inspect vehicles regularly ahead of the Republic Day.
He issued a stern warning to mischievous elements, stating that anyone found violating the law will not be spared under any circumstances.
Lalru Station House Officer (SHO) Akashdeep Sharma and other police statoins officials were also present at the public meeting.
