60 unauthorised structures demolished near Jhampur and Gharuan

The enforcement wing of GMADA today demolished around 60 unauthorised constructions near Jhampur and Gharuan. Roads constructed through the unauthorised colonies were also dug in the process.
Harpreet Singh, SDO, GMADA, said a team of GMADA demolished the illegal structures in four unauthorised colonies raised in the vacant area in front of Gharuan University. He said the foundations on various plots were demolished with the help of a JCB machine. He said the team demolished about 35 illegal structures in eight unauthorised colonies in Jhampur village.
