Mohali, October 4
A 66-year-old man died of Covid today, taking the Mohali toll to 200. The district also saw 67 fresh cases, raising the tally to 10,900.
The Civil Surgeon, Dr Manjit Singh, said the 66-year old victim hailed from Sialba Majri village. He died at Grecian Hospital, Mohali.
The health official said 45 of the 67 fresh cases reported today were from Mohali (urban), seven were from Kharar, two from Dera Bassi and 13 from Dhakoli. He said 216 persons were cured of the disease and discharged from various hospitals in the district. As of now, 9,163 patients had beaten the virus in the district. There are 1,537 active cases. — TNS
