7 youths create ruckus at Phase 3B2 market, held

Mohali: The Mataur police have arrested seven persons for allegedly creating a ruckus at the Phase 3B2 market here and injuring a cop by hitting him with their car late on Monday evening. Five of them — Sahil Khan, Gagandeep Singh, Harpreet Singh, Vohit and Jagpal Singh — were creating high drama at the market on their Tata Safari. The other two were in another car. When a cop reached there and asked them to stop, they hit the cop with their SUV. The suspects hail from Ropar and Fatehgarh Sahib and are unemployed. A case has been registered. TNS

City lad bags 2nd rank in NLU test

Chandigarh: Digvijay Singh, a former student of Bhavan Vidyalaya Chandigarh, secured the second rank in the All-India Law Entrance Test for National Law University, Delhi.
