8 new cases surface in Mohali dist

Mohali: Eight new Covid-19 cases — four from Mohali (urban), three from Kharar and one from Boothgarh — were reported from the district on Wednesday. Two patients recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours. Of the 68,735 positive cases reported so far, 67,631 patients have been cured. There are now 40 active cases. The death toll in the district stands at 1,064. TNS
