8-yrs fight for justice: Son uncovers wife-driver's affair; shocking details of Surinder Kaur's hit-and-run in Mohali
Phase-2 resident Bhushan had alleged that his wife Sunita and Taranjeet were allegedly involved in an illicit relationship
A Phase-2 Mohali resident Bharat Bhushan's endeavour to bring the killers of his 80-year-old mother to justice after eight years of struggle.
Victim Surinder Kaur died in a hit-and-run case near Sector 71 on August 18, 2017, early in the morning.
The 40-year-old son has now procured CCTV footage and gathered evidence showing that it was not just an accident but a conspiracy hatched by none other than his wife, Sunita, her family members, and a cab driver Taranjeet Singh, alias Laadi, who used to pick and drop her from school.
Bhushan had alleged that his wife Sunita and Taranjeet were allegedly involved in an illicit relationship.
To eliminate Sunita's mother-in-law Surinder Kaur, who had come to know of Sunita's alleged illicit relationship with a cab driver Taranjeet Singh, Sunita's family members also conspired to eliminate her and pass it off as a hit-and-run accident, Bhushan has submitted in the court.
Accused Taranjeet Singh, alias Laddi, Sunita, wife of complainant Bharat Bhushan 40, Laxmi (Sunita's cousin sister), Harbhajan Dass (Sunita's brother), Dass's son, Anil and wife Rimpy were summoned by a Mohali court to face trial under murder and criminal conspiracy on November 3.
According to the complainant, "On August 13, 2017, around 6am his mother Surinder Kaur was hit by a white car in Sector 71 during her routine morning walk.
After the accident, car driver fled the spot.
During investigation, the police found that cab driver and Sunita, a school teacher, were involved in the commission of murder of mother of the complainant and Section 304 IPC was added.
Complainant, of his own, had taken CCTV footage of cameras at the residential area adjacent to that road and from the same, it revealed that a car entered in Phase-2, market-parking area and was standing in front of the road which was coming from the house of the complainant and after one minute, the vehicle took U-turn and and moved towards the victim.
Moments later, CCTV footage at Phase-2 temple showed that the vehicle was damaged and its headlights were broken.
The accident has been witnessed by Kajheri resident Parkash and Phase-2 resident Pappu and they told that a white colour vehicle hit the victim, who died at the spot.
Next day, the complainant found that Laadi, who used to pick and drop her wife from school, was getting the denting and painting work done on the car.
Bhushan further submitted that the proposed accused in connivance with each other and in a pre-planned manner, killed his mother.
"The proposed accused were in constant touch with each other, their phone call details show," Bhushan's counsel Tejwinder Singh Gill said.
