The Mohali police have returned nearly 90 lost and stolen mobile phones to their rightful owners at the Cyber Crime Police Station here.

The initiative comes as part of the ongoing efforts by the Punjab Police to recover and return stolen property, as well as reduce crime rate associated with stolen goods.

Jatinder Singh Chauhan, DSP, Cyber Crime police station, said, “The police have ensured that all recovered phones were checked against the police records to confirm ownership before handing them over to the rightful owners. A detailed process has been followed to ensure transparency.”
