AAP govt responsible for singer’s murder: MP

Chandigarh, June 12

Bhojpuri star and Lok Sabha MP Ravi Kishan held the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab responsible for the murder of Sidhu Moosewala.

“He was killed because of the incompetence of the Punjab Government. The only thing one can say about the Punjab Government is Maan sarkar jhand baa phir bhi ghamand baa,” he said while addressing a public meeting at Mauli Jagran to commemorate the completion of eight years of the BJP government at the Centre.

The rally and public meeting was organised by the Chandigarh BJP. On this occasion, city BJP president Arun Sood, former UT president Sanjay Tandon, general secretary Ramveer Bhatti, Mayor Sarabjit Kaur Dhillon, along with others, were present.

Ravi Kishan said in the past eight years many schemes had been started for the welfare of the poor.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
