Mohali, February 3
The state government is set to organise special camps under the ‘Sarkar Tuhade Dwar’ programme. The camps are set to begin on February 5, and the preparations are underway. The programme aims to provide various government services to residents at their doorsteps. During a meeting held to discuss the forthcoming camps, AAP leaders stressed that all services should be delivered to residents in a timely manner. They said the residents may call the relevant helpline number (1076) to avail of these services from the comfort of their home. Special camps under this scheme would provide various government services along with 43 citizen services at residents’ doorsteps.
District Media Incharge Atul Sharma said information regarding the camp sites would be given to residents here in time.
Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh said this scheme is a major step by the state government that would not only benefit residents, and also show that CM Mann is committed to providing facilities to the general public.
