The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has demanded the resumption of educational activities in Panjab University.
The ABVP’s PU unit president, Paras Rattan, said while life around had become normal, the university had still not decided to reopen the campus for regular students.
Hrishika Raj, secretary, said all college campuses in Chandigarh were gradually opening up again. The authorities of MCM DAV College and PGGC 46 have issued notifications on the reopening of both colleges.
The ABVP has demanded that the VC should take action towards resuming educational activities on the campus, reopening hostels and allowing students to come and stay. The ABVP will launch a mega protest against the university authorities if it does not come up with a plan to open the campus in seven days.
