Activities mark CITCO’s 51st Foundation Day

The Chandigarh Industrial and Tourism Development Corporation (CITCO) marked its 51st Foundation Day with enthusiasm at Hotel Mountview. The celebrations brought together employees from all CITCO hotels and units, fostering team spirit.

The event commenced with exciting sports activities on the front lawn, where employees participated in various races, tug-of-war and matches, showcasing their energy and teamwork. This was followed by cultural performances and a DJ session at Confluence Hall, where employees displayed their talents, making the atmosphere lively and engaging.

The celebrations concluded with a grand feast, strengthening the sense of unity among all employees.

The event was inaugurated by CITCO Chairman Ajay Chagti, along with Anuradha Chagti, Secretary Social Welfare, in the presence of Managing Director Hari Kallikkat, Chief General Manager Paviter Singh, heads of departments, and employees.

Addressing the gathering, Chagti appreciated the unwavering dedication of employees, stating, “CITCO has completed 51 glorious years, and this journey has been possible due to the relentless dedication and hard work of our employees. Our commitment to excellence in hospitality and tourism remains unwavering.”

The Foundation Day was the grand culmination of week-long celebrations, during which various activities and competitions were organized for employees across all CITCO units. The winners were felicitated with trophies.
