Actress Mahi Gill seeks votes for Congress nominee

Actress Mahi Gill reached the city today and sought votes for Harmohinder Singh Lucky, Congress candidate from Ward No. 2.

Mahi said: “Lucky is my childhood friend and I came here to help him. He has always been with me in my good and bad times. So, I came here today to support him.” She appealed to people to vote for him.

Congress national spokesperson Randeep Surjewala, former MLA Alka Lamba and Punjab MLA Fatehjung Singh Bajwa also reached the city to campaign for party candidates.

Surjewala alleged that every section was unhappy with the BJP. —TNS
