The Mohali District Administration has provided 438 services related to various government departments to the residents at their doorstep under ‘Bhagwant Mann Sarkar Tuhade Dwar’. Residents can dial the toll-free number (1076) if they wish to avail of these services.
Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain said 43 citizen-centric services have been started by the state government, and so far, 438 residents have availed of these services in the district.
She said, “A total of 466 requests have been received so far, and 438 have been disposed of. Eight service assistants (Sewa Sahayaks) have been assigned to provide services from various government departments to residents at their doorsteps.”
Services under the ‘Bhagwant Mann Sarkar Tuhade Dwar’ include Birth/NAC Certificate, Addition of Name in Birth Certificate, Multiple Copies of Death Certificate, Correction of Entry in Birth Certificate, Issuance of Death/NAC Certificate, Income Certificate, Affidavit Attestation, Backward Area Certificate, Demarcation of Land, Stipend to Children of Beneficiaries, Pension to Handicapped Citizens, Application for Disability Certificate UDID Card, Pension to Dependent Children (Social Security), and Registration of Marriage (Compulsory), among others.
