After singer Diljit Dosanjh, the UT Administration will now initiate action against the organisers of Punjabi singer AP Dhillon’s concert for violating the permissible limits of noise during the show held at the rally ground in Sector 25 on December 21.
The Administration had warned of action if the noise level of 75 decibels was breached during the concert held on Saturday evening. An official stated that for maximum time the noise level was 80 decibels and for short span of time the noise level reached 85 decibels.
During the recently held concert of Diljit at the exhibition ground in Sector 34 on December 14, the noise pollution level also exceeded the limits.
