After two weeks, the fresh Covid case tally in the district touched the double-digit mark as 10 persons were found infected during the past 24 hours, taking the total number of positive cases to 68,593. Earlier, on August 13, 10 cases had surfaced in the district. No fresh Covid death was reported, while two patients recovered from the virus. Among the fresh cases, one each was reported from Lalru and Kharar, three from Mohali and five from Dhakoli. Of the 68,593 cases reported from the district so far, 67,484 patients have been cured. — TNS

Chandigarh sees 6 cases

Chandigarh: The city on Friday reported six cases of Covid-19 and no death due to the infection. A total of four patients were cured of the disease in the past 24 hours. — TNS
