The hospital, empanelled with the Western Command under the ECHS, is being probed for allegedly tampering with bills and referral forms of patients. The Army had ordered an internal staff court of inquiry against the hospital. The Central Forensic Science Laboratory also examined the forms in October 2020 for the alleged fraud.

On the complaint of the Western Command Composite Signal Regiment Military Station, Chandimandir, an inquiry was conducted by SP (City) Harvinder Singh Virk. “A case was registered against chairman Dr Shivpreet Singh Samra, managing director Dr Shachi Samra and billing head Yogesh Kumar Dhawan on August 27,” said Virk. — TNS
