AMBA Open meet: Aryanman logs easy victory

Aryanman Dhull easily outclassed Aditya Gautam 15-11 15-13 to qualify for the boys U-17 next round of the ongoing Yonex Sunrise 1st AMBA Open Badminton Tournament today. Karan logged a convincing 15-9 15-8 win over Varinderjit Singh, whereas Pranav defeated Saksham 15-4 15-8.
In the women’s category, Divyanshi defeated Rittika 15-8 15-0 and Unnati Jaral overpowered Seerat Budhwar 15-9 15-7. Ruchi Chahal also marched ahead by defeating Lalita 15-5 9-15 15-11 and Shagunpreet Kaur overpowered Garvita 15-4 15-3.
In the girls’ U-17 category, Ruchi Chahal ousted Avni 15-6 15-6 and Vineeta Panchal overpowered Anupriya 15-10 15-8. Kanishka Kalia also marched ahead by defeating Jiya 15-11 15-3 and Akanksha overpowered Harsimar 15-4 15-9. Divyanshi registered a convincing 21-8 21-14 win over Unnati Jaral and Ruchi Chahal defeated Shagunpreet Kaur 21-15 21-18.
The team of Gaurav and Ishan Sihag marched ahead in the boys’ U-17 doubles event by defeating Harshit and Kanish 15-4 15-3. The pair of Ayush and Ayush Rana defeated Arnav and Deven 15-8 15-2, while Abhav and Aditya defeated Arman and Parth 15-4 15-13. Dakshesh and Karan outplayed Bhavishya and Raviuday 15-7 15-10.
In the mixed doubles round, Harsh and Mahima easily overpowered Udayveer and Jaismine 15-14 15-12. Mohit Sandhu and Divyanshi paired up to defeat Krish Chadha and Arunima Pal 15-7 15-5. In the boys’ U-15 category, Kritagya Arora defeated Pratik 21-16 21-16 and Namandeep Singh Pannu ousted Abhimukat Narain Rishi 21-13 21-18. Mohit Gauri won his men’s category match by defeating Dhruv Bansal 21-15 21-16.
In the boys’ U-19 doubles event, Rudransh Negi and Shivansh overpowered a tough challenge by Akshiv and Udayveer 11-15 15-5 15-11, while Naman Narang and Yogeshwar Narang defeated Ayush and Harshit 15-12 15-13. Devansh and Yash outplayed Aryaman Dhull and Jayan Garg 13-15 15-7 15-11, while Adyan Kakkar and Gaurav defeated Harikesh and Lokesh 6-15 15-7 15-7. In the boys’ U-17 event, Ambala’s Shan Sihag defeated Bhavishya Ahlawat 15-8 15-4 and Dakshesh outplayed Gunit Nakra 15-5 15-3. Aryanman Dhull defeated Nitigya 15-4 15-8, Aditya Gautam ousted Gourav Verma 15-13 15-9, Karan outplayed Varun 15-5 15-10 and Varinderjit Singh easily defeated Kritagya Arora 15-12 15-6.
