Ambala Railway Division feted with GM Excellency honour

Ambala, February 9

The Ambala Division of the Northern Railway has won 11 shields and the GM Excellency Award in the 68th Railway Week Function-Vishisht Rail Seva Puruskar ceremony held in Delhi.

Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Ambala Division Mandeep Singh Bhatia said, “The General Manager at Northern Railway, Shobhan Chaudhuri, has honoured employees for commendable work individually and various departments of division by giving them efficiency shields for their excellent work. The GM Excellency Award was conferred on the Ambala Division of the Northern Railway.”

The awards are given every year by the General Manager at the Headquarters level to the employees and to various departments as a reward for their exemplary services for the Indian Railways.
