The Chandigarh Police have issued a traffic advisory in view of Punjabi singer AP Dhillon’s live concert scheduled on December 21, Saturday, at the Rally Ground in Sector 25 here.

Traffic movement is expected to be restricted or diverted on certain road stretches from 4 pm onwards.

Three designated locations across the city will serve as parking areas, with shuttle buses ferrying spectators to the venue as there will be no parking facility available for audiences at or near the venue.

As per the advisory, commuters are advised to avoid road stretch near Sector 25 Rally Ground, Sector 25/38 dividing road, and Sector 14/25 dividing road up to the Dhanas turn.

As heavy traffic is expected at Sector 14/15/24/25 chowk, Bhaskar chowk (Sector 24/25-37/38), Dadu Majra light point near the dumping ground, and Yatri Niwas chowk (Sector 23/24-15/16), the commuters are advised to avoid these areas, especially in the evening.

From 4 pm onwards, entry will be restricted on the Sector 25/38 dividing road and Sector 14/25 dividing road up to the Dhanas turn.

The UT Police have advised the commuters to use Madhya Marg and Dakshin Marg to travel within the city.
