Keeping in mind the safety of passengers, the UT Administration has directed all the auto-rickshaw and e-rickshaw operators to affix acrylic or plastic transparent sheet only.

It has been observed that the auto-rickshaw and e-rickshaw operators have affixed black sheets or curtains in their vehicles in order to save themselves and passengers from rain or cold weather. Such curtains are not permissible in law.
